When we were browsing a market in Thailand, we came across one of these areas full of green little cacti. I thought they were the cutest things ever! Ever since I was little I loved miniature things. In my mind cacti are normally large, but these are quite tiny. I'm sure they still hurt pretty badly if you touch them though (don't ever touch a cactus' spines! They hurt! I learned that in Arizona!).
It's already mid-week and I'm excited to celebrate a special holiday coming up this weekend. For those of you who don't know, it's called "Eid-ul-Azha", which basically is remembering Abraham's faithfulness to God. God asked Abraham to sacrifice his son and he began to follow through on it, but right before he was about to do the deed, God provided a ram. Here where we live, they actually sacrifice animals (goats, cows, camels, chickens, etc.) in the streets and celebrate with their families and friends. I'm glad to celebrate with them.
Enjoy the rest of your week!
