Leftovers & Off Camera Lighting

If you've been following me the last few months, you will know that I recently had my first photo exhibition! It was exciting for me to complete this project and I felt it turned out so well. If you haven't seen the photos from the exhibition, click here to see them or look here for the blogpost.

I still have a few photos that I never posted online from the exhibition that I think were good, but not quite enough for the exhibition. The one below is of one of my friends who teaches with me in my department. It took some time for the students to stop looking at me so I could get a natural shot. :)

I love photo projects! I am hoping soon to start playing with off camera lighting. I always have taken pictures solely with natural lighting, but I am wanting to give myself more of a challenge and off camera lighting is something I have never tried before. I have been eyeing it for years, but never decided to jump into it. I think this is the time. :)

If you are a photographer and want to get into off camera lighting, too, check out this site: http://strobist.blogspot.com/. It's hands down the best resource on this!
