Nichole is one of the sweetest girls I have ever met. She's laid back, calm, compassionate and witty. I loved being around her and taking part in her day with Mike.
Nichole and I met through an email she sent, inquiring about her upcoming wedding. We met over a nice starbuck's drink (chai latte with soy...mmm-mmm!) talked everything out, got to know each other a little and booked the wedding!
From the get go, I was very excited to even know this couple. They have a passion for people and for cross-cultural work. It was SO encouraging to hear her heart and hear his, too.
The wedding was beautiful! Simple, yet so elegant. I was so impressed in how it all turned out (especially since it was put together in a little more than a month!).
The venue was The Little Chapel in the Woods in Denton, TX. It is a gorgeous little chapel tucked away on TCU campus. It was so tucked away that I got lost finding it. But, when you find it, you will see it's beauty, elegance and simplicity. With the large stained glass windows and cozy inside, it is a great place to tie the knot.
Well, enough of my blabbering - I hope you enjoy these beautiful pictures of Nichole and Mike on their special day!
Nichole - you are GORGEOUS! :)
2 things about the next few pictures. Nichole and Mike decided to see each other before the ceremony, so we were able to snag some pictures before we started and were able to do formals. It was really nice to take my time with them.
I thought this next picture is the cutest ever! They both decided to wear TOMS Shoes. If you don't know what TOM Shoes are, you should check it out. Basically, every pair of shoes that are purchased from them, a pair of shoes is given to a child in need. It's pretty awesome, actually.
Nichole is checking to see what time it is, and then decides to peek in on her groom next door.
This is what she sees as she looks out the door:
So this little kiddo kept looking over at me the entire ceremony. So cute!
I now pronounce you man and wife!! Yay!
Instead of having a reception afterwards, they had a receiving line. It was so fun seeing their friends reactions. Here are a few below that I thought were priceless. :)
Congrats Mike and Nichole!
