The Moore Family | Family Portrait :)

When I'm with the Moore family, I'm guaranteed to have a good time. :) Mostly because they have three boys and that is pretty much a recipe for craziness. :) During this shoot, they were running around like crazy people, and I said to Jen, "I wish I had half the energy they have!" And she said to me, "I wish they had half the energy they have!" hehe :) Yes, kids have tons of energy!

And photographing families is FUN! I love it! This portrait was nothing short of fun. We had such a great time. We went to Tempe Beach Park and played around a bit. I had only been to this park once before and I think it's an excellent location for pictures!!! When they suggested it I was totally up for it. :)

All of their kids have very different personalities - it's fun to see in the pictures! Enjoy them!

So in the beginning of a portrait, I will typically pose people just to warm up to the camera and then they'll get comfortable and have fun and I'll get candid shots. Well, I didn't even pose this next one. I told Jen and Rob to sit down and the two kids on the right plopped down and the other on the left. I was almost speechless that they sat themselves down that way!! So this next shot, while it is nice, I typically don't do really 'posey' (posed + cheesey) shots. :) I do like how this one did turn out though! :) Great thinking kiddo's!

Yay for jumping shots! :)

So I was trying to get the kids to lighten up a bit and told them to jump off of this ledge. I think they took this jumping seriously...so, look at the child (Noah) in the middle...he's SO intense!!! haha! :)

Had a great time Moore family! :)

The Valenzuela Family | Baby/Children/Family Portrait

If I had to say one word about Dayle, it would be love. She exuded love onto her children the entire time we were together. I have a lot to learn from her! :)

Dayle and I met for the first time in Dallas, TX, where I was doing a family shoot. She flew in from Arizona to spend time with her family and pictures were apart of that time. You can see those here. Whenever she learned that I was moving to Arizona, she let me know that she wanted some new pictures of her kids again, especially Mary that wasn't in those pictures since she wasn't born yet.

We set up a time and it was so perfect! The great thing about the Phoenix area in contrast to Dallas, is that it never really rains here, and the sky is always clear and beautiful. So, it was perfect weather! Nice and cool, actually (in comparison to the summer, which was stifling!).

We had such a great time and I enjoyed every minute of it! Dayle, you're a great Mom and I know those kids feel super loved by you! Love your friend!

This is probably my favorite of the shoot. I just love her eyes. The entire time I was editing these I kept wishing my eyes were that blue and beautiful! :)

I don't know what was so special about this camel, but all the kids wanted to sit right where Martin is sitting. It was actually kind of comical to watch them wait in line for it!!

Thanks for taking a look. Please leave a comment below - would love to hear from you reader!

The Hartsfield Family | Family Portrait - Holiday Portrait

I first met Janelle at the church I went to while I was in college. It's hard not to want to get to know Janelle, as she is such a sweetheart. I know many people who would agree with me!

Later on, after Josh and I moved and began going to a different church, I kept up with her through her blog and watched her daughter grow up. She is the most beautiful little girl ever. That's the great things about blogs and online social networks. You can keep up with people that you could easily lose contact with when you move.

Anyways, Janelle messaged me on facebook a few weeks ago and we set up a time in the frigid cold to do a short session of her family. They were very brave. They kept telling Ella, "We're almost done!" (even though all of us knew that we still had about the entire shoot left as we just started!). It was cute.

I just LOVE this picture of Ella. She is so cute.

Have a GREAT weekend!!

The Hall Family | Family Session

Meet the Hall/Hammon family. I LOVE this family very much. They are all very dear to my heart.

I first met the Hammon's through Apartment Life/CARES through our church. After first meeting the Hammon's there, I ended up working full time at the place where Chase worked. Pretty crazy - It's a small world after all! :)

I later met Elizabeth's Mom, Kim, through different circumstances and events, as well as Elizabeth's sisters.

Kim contacted me not too long ago wanting to get some pictures of her and her grandbabies. They were all so cute - and cranky. :) I'm not going to lie, they all needed a nap! I think everyone would agree. They cried a lot - but it made for some fun pictures!! :)

I unfortunately cannot post any of the Hammon's children because of certain laws (they are foster parents). It was really hard not posting them because their kiddo's are so cute, but, I have to obey the law. Just FYI. :)

Anyways, without further adieu, here is this beautiful family!!

These next few pictures are so cute of Martin. He really liked his teddy bear, that's for sure.

I love this couple! They are amazing - and very inspiring. I love their hearts. :)

I love the quilt shots! Unfortunately I can't post the pictures of the Hammon's with their kiddos in the quilt, but trust me, it's really adorable!!

By the way, that quilt that you see in those pictures is a quilt my Mom made me. She is an AWESOME quilter - let me tell you. She has made me three quilts and they are beautiful - very warm. And they make for great pictures! :)

Thanks for looking!
