Lena Pope Chapel | Venue

Not too long ago, I did a wedding at the Lena Pope Chapel, in Ft Worth. We did Mary’s bridal pictures and wedding there at this chapel.

The architecture is so well done. There are many tall windows (which can be hard for a photographer) allowing light to flow freely through the chapel, beautiful light fixtures, and so forth. It was a great place to shoot at.

After we did Mary’s bridal portraits, Mary was asked if they could use one of the pictures from her shoot on their website! What an honor to me! Mary asked me and I of course said, “Yes!” I hadn’t heard anything in a while, so I thought I’d check it out. And lo, there was the photo on the “Donations” page:

I really feel honored. If you are a bride, this is a gorgeous venue and you should check it out if you’re getting married in the DFW area.

Josh & Jennifer | Engaged!

This session was much fun. I met Josh through his sister Rachel (who is a wedding beautician - check her out here) who I went to college with. Josh wanted to propose to his girlfriend and then take pictures afterwards. After a few emails we had it all set up at the Omni Hotel in Ft. Worth.

Let me tell you - it was so sweet being able to watch him propose to Jennifer! I was very thankful that I was able to document their first few hours engaged! :)

The Omni was sure beautiful that day. I couldn't help but snap a few of the actual building.

This first picture was right before he proposed. Unfortunately, I was changing my position because I couldn't see her face and he decided to go down on one knee!!

This next picture, you can tell Jennifer is on cloud nine! I was too right after my hubs proposed to me. It's such a sweet time! :)

I don't know why, but I love this next picture!

Jerry & Mary | Married!

Here is a couple, that is absolutely wonderful. I met Mary this past February at my work, whenever she was first engaged. I was able to do her engagement pictures, bridal pictures and now her wedding! Her wedding was absolutely stunning!

She had it at the Lena Pope Chapel in Ft. Worth and then we headed to the Woodhaven Country Club for her reception.

When I met Jerry at their engagement portraits, I was convinced of the love this couple has for each other. What an honor it is to be able to capture what I see on camera!

Mary and Jerry - Congrats friends! I hope that you are enjoying your new life together. You are amazing people, and I know that God is going to do much through you guys. Love you guys and hope you enjoy these pictures!
