Facebook | Business

So who doesn't like Facebook?? If you're anything like me, you at minimum check it twice or three times a day! When I say that out loud I think to myself - I need to get a life! :)

Anyways, Transparent Life Photography is on Facebook now! Can I get a 'WHOOP WHOOP!'

So let's make it official and you can be my friend over there by saying you like what I do. You can even just click on the below picture and it will take you straight to me!

See you over there!

Julia | Baby Shower

I've never been to a shower before that was so detailed. It was beautiful. They had everything from diaper 'cakes' to baby clothes hanging delicately from a string infront of a large window. It was beautiful!

Julia is one of the girls in my community group from church. It seems that every single girl in my community group is now pregnant or had a baby within the past year or so...except me. :) While I'd love to be a part of this 'bonding experience,' God has His perfect timing and I'm not worrying about it whatsoever. I figure that when God blesses my womb, it'll happen. Until then, I will enjoy life without kids with my lovely husband. As well, I have to remind myself that all of the people in my group, for the most part, are at least 2-3 years older than I am. That 2-3 years makes a huge difference!

Julia asked me to do pictures at her shower and it was a lot of fun. It was a great joy to be able to help in this way.

Anyways, enough of my rambling! Here are some pics of my beautiful friends!

A little bit of gift opening. It was fun seeing Julia's expressions to each of the gifts. :)

We had a few games - this one was fun watching. Basically, this was 4 oz of chocolate milk in the bottle. The first person who drank all of the milk one. It's a LOT harder than it looks (apparently - I didn't participate). I'll take their word for it, though. ;)

This won't be the last of Julia that you will see. Up in the next post will be her maternity pictures. They were SO much fun to do! :) So keep watch for them!

Congrats Julia!! I know you will make an amazing Mom!!!

Melissa & Zach | Holiday Portrait

I LOVE Melissa. What a great friend. Her big, beautiful smile and laugh brightens up a room in a heartbeat.

I met Melissa at our workplace. She works for GAiN, which stands for Global Aid Network. Global Aid Network is an organization that works in the fields of Humanitarian Aid, Developmental Aid, Short Term Trips Overseas, Emergency Disaster Relief and so on. What an awesome ministry!

Melissa asked me if I would do a mini-portrait of her and her boyfriend, Zach. I had never met Zach before this portrait and what an awesome guy! I was so impressed with him.

Melissa & Zach – Thanks for letting me do your mini-portrait. You two are really an awesome couple and I really enjoyed hanging out around you. It was a lot of fun and I hope you enjoy the way your pictures turned out.

Enjoy!

This next one is by far my favorite from the shoot!

 Melissa! You're GORGEOUS! :)

Thanks for looking!

Arun | Engaged

Riding public transportation to and from work makes life interesting at times. You see all kinds of things and meet all kinds of people. Sometimes it's pretty comical (like the time I saw a guy working out on one of the rails on the DART rail...talk about AWKWARD!) and sometimes it's really sad and wish I could somehow stop what's happening (like the time I saw this man harassing this woman...it was EXTREMELY uncomfortable). It's interesting every day!

Arun is someone that I met when riding my bus to work everyday. We became great friends over the past year and he is now getting married! yay!

Since Arun is from India, he's getting married in India. I wish I could go. It would be an amazing experience.

Since Arun is in the US right now, they need some pictures of him to send to India and he asked me! What an honor! So these are just a few pictures of Arun around the city! My husband Josh came along with us as well, and that was even more fun. Josh put me up on his shoulders a few times. That was pretty awesome. :)

I digress...enjoy the pictures and CONGRATS Arun! I can't WAIT to meet your bride!

Feel free to leave a comment - I'd LOVE to hear from you!

So...what's so significant about the 13th?? It's the day he's getting MARRIED! :) I love it!

If you haven't noticed already, Arun really likes to smile and laugh. It's pretty contagious too, when you're around him.

Thanks for looking! I love having comments on my blog, so feel free to leave Arun some love!

CONGRATS Arun!

Jennifer & Ben | Maternity

I LOVE this couple! They are very close friends of Josh and me. We originally met Jen and Ben at our church, Watermark, through a random dinner. We then were put into the same Community Group and have been in that group for two years now! Crazy how time passes by.

One thing we love about Ben and Jen is their love for community and inviting people over. Jen is probably the most hospitable person I have ever met. She loves to host people and take care of them. They always invite us over and we play tons of games - "Settlers of Catan," "Killer Bunnies," and more. We love hanging out with them.

These are Ben and Jen's maternity portraits. She asked me to do them a while back and we finally set a time! Jen actually had her baby LAST WEEK! :) Her baby is the most adorable baby ever. :) Yay for babies!

I hope you enjoy these beautiful pictures, as this is one beautiful couple.

Thanks for stopping by!

I really like this picture of Ben. He looks like a model. :)

This is one of my FAVORITES from the shoot! I love the lighting, I love their expressions and everything else! Ben and Jen you are SO adorable!!!

Jen you are GORGEOUS! :)

I like this image - it's totally not planned AND you can see how big that belly is! :)

Ben was acting goofy throughout the entire shoot and Jen continued to roll her eyes. It was pretty funny to capture that on the camera. :)

Thanks for stopping by! Please leave me a comment - I'd love to hear from my readers!

Enjoy your Thursday!
