The Hall Family | Family Session

Meet the Hall/Hammon family. I LOVE this family very much. They are all very dear to my heart.

I first met the Hammon's through Apartment Life/CARES through our church. After first meeting the Hammon's there, I ended up working full time at the place where Chase worked. Pretty crazy - It's a small world after all! :)

I later met Elizabeth's Mom, Kim, through different circumstances and events, as well as Elizabeth's sisters.

Kim contacted me not too long ago wanting to get some pictures of her and her grandbabies. They were all so cute - and cranky. :) I'm not going to lie, they all needed a nap! I think everyone would agree. They cried a lot - but it made for some fun pictures!! :)

I unfortunately cannot post any of the Hammon's children because of certain laws (they are foster parents). It was really hard not posting them because their kiddo's are so cute, but, I have to obey the law. Just FYI. :)

Anyways, without further adieu, here is this beautiful family!!

These next few pictures are so cute of Martin. He really liked his teddy bear, that's for sure.

I love this couple! They are amazing - and very inspiring. I love their hearts. :)

I love the quilt shots! Unfortunately I can't post the pictures of the Hammon's with their kiddos in the quilt, but trust me, it's really adorable!!

By the way, that quilt that you see in those pictures is a quilt my Mom made me. She is an AWESOME quilter - let me tell you. She has made me three quilts and they are beautiful - very warm. And they make for great pictures! :)

Thanks for looking!

Jay & Julia | Maternity

It was a normal day with our community group. We were sharing a meal together; all squished around a table that normally seats 7-8 people (there were 12 of us) as we heard the great news of “The Wells are having a baby!”

It was very exciting.  Not too long before that day, another girl in our group had announced that she was pregnant. At that time, there were officially two women pregnant in our group, a baby a few months old and two of us that were not pregnant, nor had never been pregnant (including myself).

It's such a fun time when all of your friends are pregnant. At least, I think it is. :)

Anyways, the Wells told me from the beginning that they wanted me to do their maternity pictures. I’ve done the maternity pictures of every single woman in our group and I figured, why not keep the tradition going? ;) You can see Samantha’s here and Jen’s here. In fact, interestingly enough, Samantha was my first ever photo shoot!

The session was a blast! Hanging out with the Wells is already awesome, so adding my camera in that mix made it a lot of fun!

Julia is due sometime next week, so I can't wait to meet the new addition to their family.

Jay and Julia – You’re going to make awesome parents. I can’t wait to meet your little one! He/She is going to be wonderful!

I love these two pics of Morgan (their dog). She just loves Jay and Julia tons!

This next photo makes me crack up. :) I love you guys!

I love the 'sweetness' of this next picture.

JULIA! You are SO stunning!! Your eyes are so beautiful! :)

Congrats Jay and Julia!

Julia | Baby Shower

I've never been to a shower before that was so detailed. It was beautiful. They had everything from diaper 'cakes' to baby clothes hanging delicately from a string infront of a large window. It was beautiful!

Julia is one of the girls in my community group from church. It seems that every single girl in my community group is now pregnant or had a baby within the past year or so...except me. :) While I'd love to be a part of this 'bonding experience,' God has His perfect timing and I'm not worrying about it whatsoever. I figure that when God blesses my womb, it'll happen. Until then, I will enjoy life without kids with my lovely husband. As well, I have to remind myself that all of the people in my group, for the most part, are at least 2-3 years older than I am. That 2-3 years makes a huge difference!

Julia asked me to do pictures at her shower and it was a lot of fun. It was a great joy to be able to help in this way.

Anyways, enough of my rambling! Here are some pics of my beautiful friends!

A little bit of gift opening. It was fun seeing Julia's expressions to each of the gifts. :)

We had a few games - this one was fun watching. Basically, this was 4 oz of chocolate milk in the bottle. The first person who drank all of the milk one. It's a LOT harder than it looks (apparently - I didn't participate). I'll take their word for it, though. ;)

This won't be the last of Julia that you will see. Up in the next post will be her maternity pictures. They were SO much fun to do! :) So keep watch for them!

Congrats Julia!! I know you will make an amazing Mom!!!

My Nieces | Family

Meet my NIECES! They are SO adorable. :) My little niece, Savannah, is new to this world. I'm a bad aunt though because I don't remember the date (oops!). These pictures were only when she was barely a week old. It was so much fun to take care of her when I was down. I washed her, changed her diaper, fed her, burped her, etc. etc. etc. All your normal 'auntie' duties. :) It was a lot of fun.

Since my family isn't near me, it was great to see them and be with them for a weekend. I hope to do it again soon.

Anyways, I love you Amanda (my sister) and I love your kiddos! They are so adorable and I love them (and you) very much.

These next pictures are of my crazy niece, Haelee, who loooovvveeesss fruit! The pictures below are her stuffing strawberries into her mouth. She wouldn't put just one in her mouth, but would stuff at least 3-4 large strawberries. It was pretty hillarious to watch. She is so cute!

I absolutely love my nieces, if you couldn't tell. Thanks for stopping by. I really appreciate you for taking a look at my work. It's always an encouragement to me, as well, when comments are left, so feel free to take a moment and say hello!

Have a GREAT week and Thanksgiving!

Laykin | Baby Portrait

Meet Laykin. This was somewhat random how this happened. My parents came up this past weekend and we spent time hanging out, talking about whatever came up and even traveled all the way to Flower Mound (about a 45 minute drive) to a pumpkin patch. The weather was perfect.

After we had finished all of our pictures, my Mom spotted this adorable little girl and we asked her mom if we could take pictures of her because she was so cute! :) These are the ones I snapped of her. She is so adorable.

Laykin's mom - sorry, I don't have your name - I hope that you enjoy these pictures! Thanks for letting us take a few and I hope that you are blessed by them.

Here you go!

Have a great week!
