Calming Waters

I post many pictures of water, if you haven't noticed, because I love it. I love to swim in it, be on a boat in it, I love the the sounds, the smells, how it looks photographed, the texture,  and so on. My stomach doesn't always agree with it, but I still persevere. :) 

This above photo was taken on a ferry ride to Anderson Island, which is an island outside of Seattle, WA. It's a beautiful place and has some amazing friends of ours residing there. 

One thing being around water does for me is that it relaxes me. Even in this picture, I remember being very cold taking the picture, but the calmness of the water was beautiful. If I wasn't so cold I would have remained there longer to watch it as we were going to the mainland...but I really hate the cold so I climbed back into the car. :)
