I remember when I took this photo. The sun was setting over the water as I watched the waves incrementally move towards me due to the tide coming in. The water had a nice rhythm to it...back...forth...back...forth. Waves crashed as they hit the sand and then ran up until they hit my toes and then went back into the ocean.
There was no other sound except for the waves--it was a quiet, calm and still moment, where I was able to enjoy God's creation, not having to think about anything else. Nothing except the sound of the water, the smell of the salty air and the sand beneath my feet.
I took this photo with a slow shutter speed to accentuate the movement of the water, to make it look more smooth. I like how it turned out. This photo is from Koh Chang, Thailand.
More to come tomorrow!
