WEEK 20: 52 {Inspiring} Photos A Year

Buying vegetables here is very easy. You can walk down the street to a "subzee ki ducan" (vegetable store/stand), wait until men walk by your home with carts holding vegetables (and you can yell at them from your balcony what you want and they'll bring it up to you) or you can go to a store and buy them. It's pretty much all the same with different conveniences. :)

We've decided that the staple things you can find at almost any stand is onions, tomatoes, potatoes, cilantro and garlic. All of these items we've used in about all of the Indian dishes we've tried making.

The man down our street had his vegetables laid out so nicely that I thought it'd make a great photo.
